La Maipú offers trails with heavenly landscapes with a wide variety of trekking circuits of different difficulties where our guests will discover virgin and practically unexplored places.
H O R S E R I D I N G
Due to the livestock origins and the mountainous relief of our ranch, horses play an important role in our daily activity. Whether to herd the sheep or to take a simple ride, we provide Creole horses, also ridden by the gauchos in their daily tours in the Estancia.
F I S H I N G
Due to the location of the lodge, a few meters away from Lake San Martin, it is a must-to-do program to go fishing. We provide casting rods so visitors can get some of the different trout species of our lake such as brown trout, rainbow trout or even salmon.
M U S E U M
The visit to the museum gives our guests an idea of the life of the first English settlers that arrived at Lake San Martin, the Lively, who played an important role in the demarcation of the Argentine-Chilean boundaries back in 1900. In Percy Joseph Lively`s original house our guests can see a wide range of objects and utensils of those Patagonian pioneers.
